Located just off the lobby in the hip Gansevoort South Hotel, STK Miami is a transplant of this chic, lively steakhouse to the South Beach market. We reinterpreted the key DNA that has made STK a standout in both New York and Los Angeles in this 2-story voluminous space. The Miami location boasts a large DJ lounge, lobby bar, bistro dining area and second level bar.
The sun-bleached palette responds to its beach environment with a soft, relaxed and more muted combination of natural materials and colors. Nude tones replace the purple glass along with natural gray suede and white leather. A catwalk across the back bar allows guests to be the center of attention as they ascend to the mezzanine level. Upstairs, a second dining room, bar and private dining areas flank the railings overlooking the main space allowing guests to be both the spectator and the spectacle. A glazed screen spans the double height space of the main atrium with an abstract shape of a woman's body printed on the glass.
Adjacent to the restaurant on the ground floor is a 2000 sq ft high-end lounge, Coco De Ville. A transport of the Coco de Ville lounge in Los Angeles, this glamorous service oriented lounge will find a niche among those on the beach that seek an elegant, sexy environment.
