Through an initial study of Stinkhorn fungi and subsequent computational experiments, the extremely intricate structure of the fungus was able to be recreated and constructed. Naturally the structure tends to take one shape, however, our analysis has allowed us to control the form, construction, and therefore use of the object. Although this structure is only an initial study, many possible applications have already been considered including seating, inhabitable space, lamp shade, simple art form, etc. By changing different criteria such as size and density of openings, pushed in areas, as well as overall size of the structure, all of these applications and more present themselves. Additional changes in material of the form can also aid in this discovery process.
