The Stanford University ChEM-H & Neurosciences building is a new 235,000 square-foot, four-story laboratory building to support combined interdisciplinary research initiatives for the Stanford Chemistry, Engineering & Medicine for Human Health Institute, and is home to the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute. The building provides an interdisciplinary community investigating neuroscience, chemistry, engineering and medicine. An adaptable laboratory building designed to enhance research interaction, research labs are designed to be flexible and reconfigurable. The design emphasizes transparency and interactivity, with multiple lounge, meeting and vertical circulation zones. GLP served as lab planner to Ennead Architects on this project.
