This cluster of 6 rehab buildings and one new construction project is located on scattered sites in the Ridgewood/Bushwick area of Brooklyn, NY. They underwent a renovation under HPD’s Third Party Transfer program and was finished in 2015. The project included a new roof with high-albedo coating, new energy-efficient foam-fiberglass windows and spray foam insulation at all perimeter walls. Our team also replaced aging systems for more energy-efficient and code-compliant building systems.
The total number of residential units across the entire cluster is 30 units, with two ground floor commercial spaces.
The rehabilitation of the properties is also intended to bring the masonry rehab buildings back to their original state, while bringing a more contemporary aesthetic using fiber-cement panels on the frame buildings.
