St. Scholastica's Mission Hospital, located in Pambujan, Northern Samar, with its 25-bed hospital is being built by the Missionary Benedictine Sisters based in the Philippines as a response to the urgent and critical need of proper health care by the surrounding poor, especially those who cannot afford to go to the hospitals of Tacloban City.
The chapel, at the center of the plan, representing for the sick and poor, the heart of the mission of St. Scholastica's Mission Hospital: hope, prayer, and God. As this hospital itsef is a chance and a hope for the people of Pambujan and its surrounding places to be saved from sickness, from disease, and from death, God and prayer will be found in the middle of it all.
