As part of the Regional Cancer Collaborative, Green Bay Oncology’s suite serves the needs of multiple oncology specialists, with a holistic approach to healing and recovery.
To be sensitive to the needs of cancer patients, the oncology center can be accessed from either a private west entrance, or the main hospital atrium via an arcaded corridor furnished with benches and offering views of the exterior. With either entry, guests’ first view is of a two-story water-wall. This feature cleanses the air as it circulates water, providing a restive distraction for patients and families. Centrally located in the lobby is reception, which offers amenities such as a hospitality counter, a 360º view salt-water aquarium, and televisions. Adjacent to the waiting area is the healing arts center, which provides massage, aromatherapy and other resources to manage anxiety, stress and pain. The oncology center’s lower level features infusion treatment bays with floors warmed by “reclaimed” heat for patient comfort.
