The building's interior was inpired by the regional mountains, agriculture, rivers and high mountain desert. The green design utilized the theories of nature-based healing while the landscape architecture team paired up with a local college to nurture native trees for indigenous plantings. The basalt rock excavated from the site was also used in the the landscape design.
