The planting design involves the school’s parking area, as
well as, the garden space adjacent to the main building. The design proposal relied
extensively on adaptive and native plants, due to site considerations and a
limited maintenance staff. Furthermore, the School officials wish to save and
reuse as much of the plant resources already on site, therefore, this design
proposal involves the replanting of as many plants based on scale, esthetic considerations
and the most favorable settings for the plant’s requirements.
