The new Srebrni gaj neighborhood, situated in an attractive location in Dolenjske Toplice, consists of 28 single-apartment houses and a larger multi-apartment building. All the buildings are connected in a beautiful whole by newly constructed internal road and foothpaths.
In the multi-apartment building with three floors and a flat roof, there are 53 serviced apartments divided into two functional units. A larger common space that can be divided into two smaller ones is located on the ground floor. In terms of a floor plan, the building is designed as an elongated rectangle with a displaced central part. With this move, an entrance platform was formed in front of the building, which allows residents to socialize. An integral part of most apartments is a balcony. The building is characterized by simple and elegant details with large glazing that offers views of the surrounding greenery.
28 single-family houses consist of 22 semi-detached houses and 6 stand-alone houses. All the houses have two floors, with a floor plan designed in such a way that all main living spaces, a master bedroom and a bathroom are located on the ground floor, while additional rooms can be arranged in the gallery. Despite their more modern appearance, the houses are characterized by traditional symmetrical gable roofs and thus act as a counterweight to the modern cuboid of the multi-apartment building.
All apartments and houses are designed to be age-friendly and suitable for residents with mobility impairments.
There are 61 outdoor parking spaces, 10 of which are intended for people with reduced mobility and each single-apartment house has its own parking space on its corresponding plot.
A green area with common areas for sitting, socializing and walking by the water is available to all residents. Along Sušica, a stream that borders the new neighborhood, a footpath is created.
Since the land plot is descending towards west, differences in height are bridged with ivy-covered retaining walls and retaining rock walls.
