Beautiful and large area, expressive terrain, picturesque panorama – a great respect for these qualities has become the main idea for the exterior and interior of this house.
While making the project, planning its interior and choosing finishing materials, the main focus was dematerialization of interior space. The aim was to erase any visual boundaries, traditionally perceived as walls.
Living in this house is like living in nature - walls and roof is only needed for physical protection. We wanted this house to be clear in every sense - the sun to reach all corners of the house, the surrounding panorama to fill the interior spaces and the terrain to pulsate not only outdoors but on the inside too.
The materials we chose were as natural as possible – wood, stone panels, a little of natural granite. The fireplace is a primary attribute of a family house, uniting every living thing.
"…first life
Wading through snowfields after the winter
Towards the Sun,
Melting and raising ices with its warmth.
Bringing space, air, light.
Like every spring."
