We have kept two beautiful walnut trees which mark the area which used to be terraced agricultural land to indicate the oblique position of the building with respect to the town. The centre has been slightly sunk to decrease the impact of its presence, and to allow easier access from the upper stands.
The opaque side façades and roof are made of a grey metal lining which defines the two main glass façades to the north and south, which provide enough lighting for the centre without any need for overhead lighting. The north glass façade enhances the visual space of the centre and transforms it into a beacon by night. We have accentuated its silhouette with two crests which emphasise the perspective of the central avenue, highlighting its continuity with the building’s entrance porch.
