New sustainable sports hall in Copenhagen. The sports hall sits in a light airy space within a square wooden building, with plenty of daylight coming from both façade and roof. The hall is dimensioned to handball, badminton and basketball and is the natural centre point of the building, connected to the arrival area and foyer. Seating, including disability seats, will be established on both sides of the hall appearing as a natural extension of the sports floor.
The hall has gates leading directly towards the parking spaces to the south and the walkway to the east. Enabling large furniture to come through as well as easy entrance and exit.
The multifunctional space is placed on the north-western corner with easy access through the internal staircase. The space can be used for dancing, yoga, gymnastics and other exercise with an increased demand on space.
