The idea of the project proposal is to create an attractive alternative to the few recreation possibilities that are in Sibiu, Romania. Since the site is located in the neigbourhood of the Central Park 'Sub Arini' in Sibiu, I tried to establish a connection between the city and the nature in such way, so that the roof of the building will glide the people from the city to the park. So the concept of the project proposal is to create a link between city and nature using the hill that characterises the site plan in such way to generate an interesting volume. The roof of the building is also used to place solar panels, so that the building becomes like an engine for herself and for the surrounding buildings generating energy for all the necessary activities.
The ideea of connection and communication is related also to the inside of the building in such matter that the people who are visiting the spa-wellness complex stay in permanent eye contact, even if they are swimmimg, drinking a coffee at the cafeteria or practicing fitness. Regarding the interior concept proposal the idea was to create an interactive space that allows people to have a visual dialogue.
