I was chosen to design a new type of bar for the Chicago area. A chocolate martini bar. Chocolate would be center stage. The venue would have to match the caliber of the chefs creations for these new martinis.Solstice meaning the highest or lowest point of the sun twice a year would be the influence of the design. Taking orbital celestial bodies, the "sun" would serve to be the main bar area as the main focus. Satellite tables would be surrounding "sub planets". All interior colors would be muted with chocolate color variations at varying degrees. This would help compliment the chefs creations. Architecture and food working together.
