This mid-century house with brick walls and a superposition of wooden and metal structure had to be fully renovated extracting layer over layer to restore natural materials and lighten up the weight of three overlapping floors.
The house is a container of the objects collected in the traveling experiences of the client, which are progressively covering walls and every corner. The two façades of the house made possible to organize the layout in a way that the room and the bathroom enjoys views to Montjuïc while the living room is open to the old town. The position of the more private spaces and the doors movement make possible to enjoy a big space despite the reduced size of this apartment.
