Due to the factory expansion, the need for a new administrative office has arisen. The initial office area is located within the factory shed. In point of its volume, the building was designed as a white “shell”, with no texture, coating a wooden “core” with a certain texture.
This idea is highlighted by the contrast between the two textures at the façade level (white ornamental plastering and IPE wood strips). The concept of “shell” coating the wooden “core” points out that the central element of the entire production process is wood. The structure
of the building consists of two levels, first floor and ground floor; the ground floor accommodates – functions intended for the people outside the company (business partners, suppliers etc.: reception office, meeting rooms, gallery for prototypes) and – functions intended for
employees (kitchenette, dining hall, recreational area, storage room, archive, sanitary facilities. The first floor contains the work area: offices, conference room and an apartment for director. In point of the building system- infrastructure was performed on insulated and
continuous concrete foundations and reinforced concrete bearings, concrete ceiling over the ground floor. The building superstructure was designed on frames so as to provide flexibility to the organization of the internal functions.
