Blending into the beautiful landscape of Mount Lebanon, the residential house manages a rare balance: it bears minimal impact on its surroundings, but dialogues with them greatly. Built from yellow and anthracite limestone, wooden cladding, and big windows and skylights the building’s exterior form is an extension of the mountains that frame it. Built with the help of a local artisan and his two sons, the two-level building is rectangular in shape and features floor-to-ceiling glass openings that draw in the crisp air, fresh light and views of the mountain hills. The villa features purist modern architectural elements, such as the geometric façade, the mosaic slabs on the pool, and the minimalist display windows. A distinguishable element of the mansions is the living roof, which is an integral part of eco-friendly living. The highly remarkable southern position of the villas enables sunlight throughout the day. The home has a lavish home cinema, 1 master bedroom, and 2 children's rooms, an open space living area, a fitness room, a small indoor garden with an olive tree under the metal stairs, and a roof garden with BBQ area.
