The apartment is located at the 8'Th floor of a building from the 70's, and has a stunning view of the city and sea of Haifa. The clients wanted to give the 130m2 apartment as much space and light as possible. Wanting to emphasize the view, white color was chosen as the base of the design.
A multifunctional use of the public space enables a flexible plan - the sliding walls determine if the space between the leaving area and the dining/work area will be open and fluid, totally separated or all the options in between. The position of the TV on the sliding wall makes it possible to move as needed – centered while watching and aside while it is turned off. A unique dining table was chosen, to accommodate the required flexibility. A small narrow table that is used also as another working space can be opened to accommodate large family dinners.
The open white kitchen is separated from the leaving area by the counter in a way that one can watch the open view while preparing a meal.
The small master bedroom has a hotel room layout, with a bathroom and a walk-in closet at the entrance. The closed home office is plane and functional with a lot of storage and work surfaces.
