Twenty-third item of the Sleipnir series dedicated to the Odin horse. In Norse mythology, Sleipnir is the Odin's horse, its name means "one who slips quickly". AtelierFORTE is inspired by Sleipnir to build monumental works. The horse also takes on a meaning of conquest, exploration and discovery of new worlds.Sleipnir Thermarum was built in June 2012 in the city of Viterbo, near Rome.It's 12 meters high, the base is 7x5 m. Materials: Spruce wood, steel.This opera points the ruins of the ancient Termae del Bacucco, famous since Etruscan times and much valued by the Romans. Also Michelangelo Buonarroti was so fascinated by the remains of the baths, which depicted them in two drawings. With the patronage of the city of Viterbo.
