SL aka Simyone Lounge was designed to reflect the high energy revelers of the neighborhood. There is a sense of strength and durability in the materials and in the front bar room, frames are intentionally left empty to showcase the stripped down beauty of the masonry walls behind. Highly reflective Barrisol ceilings are designed to maximize height and to give a mirroring effect, where the clientele actually become the fabric of the space. In the back club room, a sculptural faceted wall, with a warm and rich palette of perforated ebony stained wood, frosted glass and mirror, circles around the perimeter. During the early lounge hours, a warm amber glow emanates from the walls to create the ambiance and as the night progresses and the energy picks up, the walls begin to dance, pulsate and chase around.
