This two-story house is situated with a main road to the south. The client wanted to secure private spaces and a garden. First, we created an L-shape housing volume (the long side for public, the short side for private). Next, we closed the L-shape with the garage to create a garden space inside. The project has a fully open-window east side so the family can access the garden directly. To ensure privacy there are no windows on the south side at eye level.
The master bedroom and the bedroom of the parents are located in the short side of the L-shape. Each room has a long range view of the garden and gets plenty of natural light. Despite the facade, which gives a closed impression, the inside spaces are filled with sunlight and air circulation.
