Situated in a luxury residential complex in the heart of Kochi with stunning views over the city, this spacious apartment interiors were done by Fahed+ Architects, for a family in search of large bright interiors that would be timeless and functional. This 4000 sq.ft apartment is divided into two areas: the social space – a large open space organized into the formal living, family living and the dining - and the private zone – with the master bedroom, children's rooms and bathrooms.
In the living room, illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows, a careful arrangement of Italian furniture by Natuzzi creates the perfect space for comfort and relaxation. The spacious, light-filled living room, with a stunning view of the city, was furnished with a composition of the a silver coloured L-Shaped sofa and leather armchairs, with complementing carpets making it an tasteful combination of material and colours.
The sophisticated elegance that is characterised by its refined colour palette and harmonious blend of different textures and materials, ranging from the fabric cladded walls in the formal living area, to the striking travertine surface that frames the television in the family living area.
The dining space is enhanced by the marble top table from Catalan Italia, which is further enhanced but beautiful suspension lights from Lodes. The bevelled mirror clad wall besides the dining helps enhance the space and size of this area. Simple dash of colours are added in the bedrooms to lighten the spirts while maintaining the overall theme – the kids bedroom is a combination of bright blues and wood where as the master bedroom remains subtle with shades of browns. A sophisticated selection of contemporary works of art adds a further decorative touch the otherwise monochromatic theme of the interiors.
