Phu Quoc is a dynamic tourist city with a relatively large population and building density. Along with urbanization, infrastructure has been developed. This has led to a lack of green space where people can find peace to blend into their homes.
The homeowner greatly values natural light and greenery throughout the house. Therefore, the design team clearly outlined a plan to bring direct light into the interior of the house vertically, making the house uniquely illuminated by natural light that can interact directly with the occupants.
Gaps were created in the upper part of the house's roof and a white brick wall was built, surrounded by natural greenery below. During the day, direct light can illuminate the communal spaces of the house from all angles. This is a method to heal the human soul by harmonizing with nature.
