On the road between Granvin and Voss lies Skjervsfossen with its twin falls plunging out from a height of 150 metres. A nature trail with paths and steps that will provide a diversity of impressions of cascades and rapids will be completed in the summer of 2015. Sherpas from Khunde in Nepal did a fantastic job laying stone upon stone at Skjervet. Thier work and background story has caught the attention of others. Their hometown, with population of 300 inhabitants, was hit by earthqauke leaving the town in ruins, with 95% of houses destroyed. The difficult situation at home for those highly skilled stone workers have touched both Landscape Architect Kari Bergo and others in the project at Skjervet, as thanks for that they are here in Norway doing a fabulous work Kari Bergo startet a fundraising campaign "Skjervsfossen gives back to Nepal."
