As the first step in the renovation of the Head Office building of Sinpaş Holding, one of Turkey's leading construction companies, located in Balmumcu, it was decided to design the Entrance Lobby, which was built 15 years ago and had difficulty meeting today's needs, in a way that would highlight the innovative and modern face of the company.
In this context, the entrance part of the building was analyzed in detail. When the analyzes of the old entrance lobby were examined, it was determined that it had a narrow and complex entrance part, therefore, there were difficulties in directing the guests and the lobby could not fully reflect the company's identity. In order to eliminate this complexity and create a wider and brighter environment by highlighting the company's current corporate identity, it was decided to first shift the entrance part one axis and bring it forward. In this context, the building facade and eaves were also rearranged and the emphasis of the entrance facade on the building perspective was increased with architectural elements and materials.
The entrance lobby was divided into 3 sections as security, information and controlled lobby areas within the scope of interior architectural design. Due to security measures, it is planned to invite guests to the building in a security area separated by landscape elements, to stop and detect the 3-storey high interior space that has been given a new identity, and then to direct them towards the information area by passing through security equipment in a controlled manner. It is planned to welcome guests passing through the information area with a new information desk placed on the door axis and a high corporate identity wall, as well as pendant lighting specially designed for the space. Comfortable seating areas that provide integrity with the space where guests passing through the controlled lobby area next to the information area can rest for a short time have been arranged. In addition, linear vertical south breaker separators have been used on the interior facades of the 3-storey high office to ensure the privacy of office employees, and it is thought that these separators will integrate with the corporate identity concept and add a strong line to the space. In order to increase the corporate identity concept of the space together with the created design elements, many different products belonging to the company's Seranit brand have been used in countertop, floor and wall coverings. In this way, the space has become a showroom area where the company's products can be exhibited while fulfilling their functional duties. Guests passing through the information desk in a controlled manner are welcomed with an open area hosting different functions in the lobby area. In this area, it is planned for guests to rest and wait, work in a collaborative manner at low and high tables with different functions or to hold meetings. In addition, the sales offices designed for Kızılbük GYO provide guests with the opportunity to meet with and hold meetings with authorities. In general, within the scope of the design, a lobby area that respects the company's past, reflects its unique structure, contains elements from its innovative corporate identity, is modern and adaptable to today's conditions, and has a high vision for the future has been created. It is aimed for this area to guide other spaces to be created in the following steps.
