This Project is located in Bicesse, Estoril, and is composed by nine housing constructions that are integrated on a global allotment of thirty houses.
The proposed constructions, which are settled perpendicularly to the street, assure external parking for two cars and a covered main access next to a green area that extends to the patio of the underground floor.
Each house is composed by two floors above the ground and one bellow. The ground floor establishes a strong direct relation with the outside as the visual and physical permeability are found immediately on the entrance. The big glass walls, on the hall and social area – Living room – assure the visual contact with all the project area.
Besides the limited external areas of each fraction, they reflect the concern about diversity and complementarities as much as possible. That was possible by the creation of potential multipurpose spaces such as the wood deck directly connected to the big glass wall on the living room, in which is located the private swimming-pool. The pool design is also determined by the alignment to this window. Other multipurpose spaces examples are the small paved area on the continuity of the dining room and the two green belts with trees and bushes that ensure the visual protection needed and the surrounding framing.
