The City of Bordeaux has the goal to become the new global reference in tall timber construction. The mixed project includes a multi-storey car park, residencial and commercial space. The design a collaboration between BELLECOUR Architectes and AertBuild, sets a benchmark of construction using timber material, from locally sourced cross laminated timber floors to glulam bracing placed strategically in order to display the structural components, the 16-storey residential tower breathes innovation as well as improved comfort for residents. Developed by Kaufman & Broad, the 20,000-sqm (GFA) is scheduled for delivery in 2025
