The second location of an innovative and respected fine dining establishment, this new restaurant and bar interior finish-out occupies two floors within a suburban retail development. The owners’ desire to simultaneously preserve, but also refresh the restaurant’s identity was achieved through the use of new and unexpected materials and compositions over familiar design elements. The tall entry foyer serves the martini bar on the ground level and provides access to the main dining area on the second level. A copper clad glass elevator brings patrons to the second floor. The dining upstairs focuses on the large open kitchen on one side and the floor to ceiling glazing on the other. A series of small, more private dining rooms feed off the main dining space. Thoughtful application of decorative lighting serves to accent rich surface textures including wood, textiles, copper, glass and stone, creating an exciting and sensual dining experience.
