SLNC-SPC is a private home, born in the desire of a young couple to go beyond the tense work environment and be alone with the inner self.
The main idea of the project is to harmonize architecture with nature, separating it from neighboring areas. For this, a two-story structure was chosen, where the first floor is hidden behind a hedge on three sides, and a beautiful panoramic view opens from the second floor. In addition, the architectural composition is L-shaped, which creates a secluded courtyard and blurs the boundaries with the garden. The interconnection of the volumes creates a sheltered courtyard space at the borders to carefully conceal the interior functions, which in turn open up to panoramic windows to the central courtyard.
The clear linear rhythm of the facades cuts into the landscape like a monumental wall. The dynamics are created by the asymmetrical arrangement of volumes and vertical recesses on the facade.
The main facade of the house is oriented to the southeast, which allows you to enjoy the sunrise. The yard is adjoined by an open awning with a summer kitchen and a terrace. Another awning is located in the shade of trees and has two parking spaces.
The first floor consists of two blocks. This is done to create a secluded courtyard and heighten contact with the garden. The main part contains the living room, dining room and kitchen, which open onto the courtyard. In the second block there are auxiliary premises: an office from where you can get to the backyard, a gym and technical rooms.
The owner suite, dressing rooms and bathrooms are located in a separate block on the second floor.
The owners value privacy, which is reflected in the architectural design. The balance between open space and solitude is created by the glazing of the second floor, which is located above the main volume of the building.
