A shrub is a woody perennial plant, smaller than a tree, with several major branches arising from the ground instead of just one big stem.
These branches sometimes grow in circles, creating an empty space within.
Shrubs grow very fast and can bend very easily which makes it a very interesting material to work with.
From a landowner's perspective, the shrub is not very attractive though and is often taken away.
Durinig one of our expiditions, we found an interesting shrub formation that we decided to convert into a hut.
We began to cut down unwanted shrub next to our site and added those branches to the existing ones by tying them together with wire.
When the shrub was densified enough we then began to bend each branch to form a roof and an entrance to the hut.
The result is a hut that consists of both dead and living material, a little bit like a zombie.
