Red glass tile covers the floor, ceiling and back shower wall of the new bathroom. At the front wall, a floor to ceiling mirror reflects the space into a complete loop of fiery red. Smooth pale yellow cement plaster side walls set off the tile surfaces and create a contrast of textures. All fixtures and accessories are wall mounted to emphasize the continuous tile surface. A custom stainless steel trough sink hangs in front of the mirrored wall. Custom stainless steel shelves and towel rails accent the space.

This project received second place in the interiors category at the 2004 Portland Design Festival. It was also published in the October 2004 issue of Sunset magazine.
