Situated in the rolling hills of the Kent countryside, this private residential project on the site of a former garden nursery sees the demolition of a series of unsightly buildings and greenhouses replaced by a dynamic residential intervention. Working with the site's falling topography the proposal seeks to hug and exploit the landscape. A strong sleek roof form denotes the project, unifying the complex internal room geometries. To be constructed from environmentally sensitive materials and to incorporate on site renewable technologies, the project is due to commence on site late 2009.
