Built on a steep north facing waterfront site, this home is organized in 2 parts. At the uppermost level is a stone blade wall abutting a dark stained timber box that incorporates a garage and entry pavilion including the stair and lift. Two storeys below rests the main house built over 3 levels. The uppermost floor is dedicated to living areas, the middle floor accommodates bedrooms and the lowest floor is an open-air pool cabana with wet edge pool and terraces leading onto the garden. A central courtyard ensures light reaches rooms facing the hillside. Clean lines and a restrained palette of materials ensure that the magnificent views take precedence over the built form.
