Set on a modest 1,020 sq.ft. urban corner plot, this residence challenges the notion that compact homes must compromise on comfort, openness, or connection to nature. Designed for a modern nuclear family, the house accommodates a car park, three bedrooms, spacious living and dining areas, a functional kitchen with utility, an open pooja space, and a terrace garden—bringing together all the amenities of a larger home within a carefully planned footprint.
The design is driven by intelligent spatial planning. Every corner has been thoughtfully crafted to create a sense of generosity and visual continuity, making the home feel far larger than its actual size. A curved staircase minimizes circulation space while becoming a sculptural element that connects the levels gracefully. High ceilings in the bedrooms and strategic openings enhance natural light, ventilation, and spatial volume throughout the house.
At the heart of the home lies an internal garden that introduces greenery, daylight, and a constant visual connection to nature. This biophilic approach transforms the everyday experience of living, creating moments of calm within a dense urban setting. The open pooja space seamlessly integrates into the living areas, fostering a sense of openness and togetherness rather than separation.
