A voluntary project started by an A-Level student, to provide a shelter for allotment users. I developed the initial design, from the initial conceptual drawings working with my course-mate to determine a design that would be achievable in a short time frame. Then alongside tangentfield architects I helped to develop the detailing and construction method for the design, this was done on site as well as in the studio. The shelter makes use of recycled materials, with an emphasis on a temporary, low-cost design. Unfortunately I was unable to help with the practical aspect of the build, but did help with the initial clearing of the site, sourcing of the materials and recruiting volunteers to make it possible.
