A leading international fashion magazine invited an illustrious group to an afternoon of daydreaming in the garden of Villa Sun Ke in the French Concession district of Shanghai. We created a loungy, chic setting for the party, featuring a temporary canopy and several lounging areas. In an otherwise hectic industry, we set the stage for people to relax in a casual atmosphere for an afternoon.
The temporary canopy consists of three helium-filled balloons with diameters of 4.5 meters, 3.5 meters, and 3 meters floating without ties under a green parachute fabric. The balloons' equator line had to be placed at identical height and countered with the appropriate sandbag weights. This setup provides resistance to three- to four-level winds. At the same time, it ensures that the canopy automatically returns to its original position after being caught in the wind.
