SH 62
HOUSE
House SH62 is a design for a foreign pair of
professionals in look for a second home that allows to break away from the
activity of the daily life, to relax and to enjoy the life on the outside.
Located in the city of Merida, Yucatan house SH62 tries
“to contribute a new perspective to the space through the integration of
exterior elements in the inner space and to provide a character of contemporary
Mexican architecture”.
A set of Gardens and patios interlace with the inner
space creating a full residence to rest, full
of surprises and sensations.
Each garden, each patio has an own oasis of character,
vegetation, texture and colors that enrich the contiguous interior space.
The rigid lines of the walls embrace smooth curved lines
that break with the monotony and incorporate dynamism to the spaces. The
monochrome inner walls create a perfect painting that reflects the color of the
cement floors and the outside walls, sprinkling each space with color which
changes according to the intensity of the natural or artificial light.
A key element in inside-outside integration was the
design of doors and windows which allow a continuity of the space, closed or totally opened, like the case of the
kitchen and living-dining-room.
Here more than inside spaces are
created: terraces where the limits between outside and inside does not exist.
House SH 62 offers a contemporary architecture full of color and
spaces to discover and to enjoy.Interior Designer / Architects
