Praça Sete de Setembro, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro st.
Sete de Setembro square is the heart of Belo
Horizonte.
Focal, dense point, a geographical and civic reference
Thousands of people circulate every day
It is the centerpiece of a radial city crossed by
eight directions.
Team 3834 wins the BHCentro contest and is
commissioned
To remake the four promenades forming the square.
Steel is present there, for long-lasting public
property.
At the higher part of the square are the lamp-benches
Generating urban being, extension of the building flow.
A central empty space provides vehicle access to the
buildings.
The lower street cantilever slab is a multi-use
shelter.
Orange highlights the entire intervention in the urban
mosaic.
The security booth is discreet next to the obelisk.
In the open air, a couple sitting, kids playing
Recall the simple yet difficult idea of a friendly
city.
