The Serbian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, designed by ALEATEK Studio, introduces the living façade at the Osaka Expo — a bold biophilic statement paired with a 95% recyclable construction system. Conceived as a “Floating Forest,” the pavilion draws inspiration from Belgrade’s Great War Island, celebrating untouched nature in urban life. As a landmark at the West Entrance and Earth Plaza, it attracted over 10,000 visitors on its opening day. A seamlessly integrated spatial journey features the theme of the upcoming Belgrade EXPO2027 — PLAY for HUMANITY — with interactive installations, thematic urban furniture, and a sensory, acoustically isolated "red garden" exit. Pavilion presents a forward-facing narrative of sustainability, play, and cultural depth rooted in Serbian identity.
