The design of this archive for seeds was one which instilled a feeling of admiration and "splendor in the grass", if you will, through the experience of moving through it at ground level, at eye level and finally at root level. The archive carries visitors across a naturally untouched plain, who's path is dictated only by footpath, and through a series of staircases which take them first to a mid-level deck which places you at eye level with the grass, and then to a sub-terranean chamber where seeds are stored within the mass of a rammed earth wall, made from the sediments of a nearby quarry.
