Seebotef bins located in planter beds all across the city
would provide central receptacles for residents to deposit household compostables.
Rather than collecting the contents of the bins (As occurs, for example, in
many European countries) the compost would be churned on site inside the
Seebotef with an auger powered by integrated solar panels (the petals). The
compost could then be used directly in nearby planters rather than being
trucked all over the city.
