The choice for the construction of a new headquarters of "BCC Sala di Cesenatico" has been taken given the success that the Cooperative Bank has enjoyed in recent years, despite the obvious difficulties of the modern banking world.
The claims were sufficiently elaborate and precise, after a consultation with the Municipality of Cesenatico, and were aimed at create a new impact building for the area (always closely linked to the activity especially about philanthropy and involvement in the economic development of the zone by Bank), recognizable in the local identity.
The requirements was: a independently multi-purpose hall of the district, a large parking area freely accessible, bank front office with offices for customer service, much room for customers, a large vault of security and safes, internal management and corporate administrative offices, a small conference room, all the local services pertaining to them.
The building was built with a steel structure mounted on site with parts partially pre-assembled, with horizontal structures in steel, all fire-retardant treated (the biggest problem faced in its implementation). The external walls have been designed with a double wall system with insulation and cladding "naturally ventilated", while the coverage was performed with a double air gap for the phase shift of the thermal wave.
The large windows provide light environment as well as the great dome volume on full-height central, which accompanies the sight in all levels of the plan. Shielding to the "brise soleil" provide adequate shielding to direct insolation.
