Nestled within the Tourlos region of Mykonos, only a few meters from the shoreline, Sealine Villa emerges as an ode to spatial harmony and Cycladic grace. The residence, a mere 200 meters from the caress of the Aegean's azure, boasts a panoramic view of Mykonos Town, the vast Aegean, and distant Syros.
The architectural vernacular of the Cyclades breathes life into the villa's form, where the interplay of space and terrain is articulated with precision and intention. Our design ethos at DEZONE traverses the dialogue between built form and context, embodying a choreography of staggered volumes that unfold in a sequence of spatial experiences, each tailored in function yet united in aesthetic dialogue.
Embracing the site's rugged topography and precipitous gradients, we crafted a narrative that respects the inherent challenges, allowing the white-plastered volumes to converse eloquently with the indigenous stone, echoing the vernacular textures. This dialogue has been meticulously placed in the center of our attention, ensuring that the architecture not only asserts its presence but also defers gracefully to the omnipresence of the Hellenic landscape.
Our inspiration at DEZONE was drawn from the threshold where the sea meets the sky, a blue line that dictates the infinite feeling of the horizon. This leitmotif permeates our design, threading through the interiors and communal spaces, bestowing upon them a depth that transcends the physical.
In the villa's heart, the interior articulates the purity of Cycladic minimalism, where bold geometries, raw textures, and the elemental palette coalesce. Custom elements, from the sculptural pergolas to the bespoke furnishings, bear the signature of a modern vernacular, each infused with the essence of the horizon. Our ambition was to forge a contemporary idiom that venerates Mykonian tradition while cultivating a milieu that resonates with the cosmopolitan sojourner.
Sealine Villa is not merely a dwelling; it is a spatial manifesto, a DEZONE crafted confluence of heritage and innovation, a sanctuary where architecture and panorama are in perpetual communion.
