The volumes are inserted in between the public green belt, on which the De La Warr pavilion lies, for integrating the whole landscape. Rhythm of the five trapezoidal volumes is harmonized with the long coast line and prevailing westerly wind. The building shape characterized with the leaned walls and sagged roofs are inspired by the seaside elements such as swelling of wave or looking up the bottom of boat. The space like tunnel leads urban activities to the sea shore.
