SEA CLIFF
A seaside home affords a quality of zen comfort and 21st Century beauty, with views of the Golden Gate bridge to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The exterior of redwood siding, copper roofs, fountains and Japanese gardens leads across a bridge to an interior with sycamore wood and limestone floors, integral color plaster walls, curved stairs with a basket-weave stainless steel rail design, cast glass doors and finely crafted cabinets. There is a living room, dining room, wet bar, library, kitchen with eat-in nook, family room, sauna, guest and au-pair suites, two studies, a wine cellar, an exercise room and an equipment room for all computer, AV, and security systems. Upstairs are two bedrooms with private baths, master bedroom with his and hers baths, laundry, and office. At the entry level a conical shaped skylight is tilted to point to the Far East and this creates a changing play of light throughout the day. Careful coordination of locations, display, and lighting were provided for a museum caliber art collection.
