The site of this project has long been familiar as the "Tokyu Forest." The theme of "sustainable (semi-permanent sustainability)" was put on the subject of planning how to preserve the rich greenery of the site beyond 1.4ha.
Placed all parking lots, machine rooms, etc. under the ground to secure open space and greenery in the surrounding areas. In order to keep the sunlight and privacy of dwelling units while preserving as many trees as possible, the dwelling houses were arranged by gentle curves. This creates a unique sense of flow in a cityscape that tends to become monotonousness. It also greatly helps to reduce the feeling of pressure on the neighborhood. In addition, Seismic isolation structure is adopted in all seven residential buildings to increase the safety of the building.
Each site, north and south, has a common building divided according to use, and it also takes into consideration coexistence with the local community by providing an open café facing the public road that crosses the center of the building, which can be used by non-residents.
