The design problem was a skycraper to be occupied with residential appartments and offices equally as well as a shopping mall, and the site is in an active area that has a lack of pedestrian and urban life.
As an architect, I figured out some points to be avoided in such a project; a)Exotic form, b)Complete segregation between indoors and outdoors, c)Indoor experience and user's comfort are always being neglected.
for the site; i've pushed the parking to the sides, giving a bigger space in the middle for an active urban environment.
for the residential part I tried to create simple peaceful spaces for living arranged in a way to create a strongly active environment. Also, into some extent i've fortunately solved the issue of loss of identity in such projects, by providing every single unit with a private frontyard and backyard overlooking the life i've dreamed of.
