The main concept of this project is to consider a fireplace not only as the heart of a house (as Frank Lloyd Wright says), but as an element to see and discover: a piece of art. This idea came into life by a deformed cube with sharp angles with a sculptural expression, not only as a visual element, but also as a means of integrating with the function of fireplace and a place to sit and relax. The materials used in this project are: cherry wood (rendered and polished) and white concrete.
