The Scrap light was designed to serve as a task light, wall washer and to provide ambient light. Most of the materials for this design were scraps from other projects. Mounted above a kitchen sink, the appearance of movement in the 3Form material relates to the running water. It also creates contrast against the smooth texture of the maple and the rough texture of the concrete wall, providing visual interest in an otherwise bland space during the day and at night.
