Slicing through a narrow, wooded lot, in an old Baton Rouge
neighborhood, stands a recently constructed home situated comfortably within
its modest surroundings. The latest in a
series of affordable contemporary homes designed and built by +one design and construction,
the Scissor House, as it’s come to be
known, joins two long, metal clad forms that bisect the lot, mimicking the
cutting action of a pair of scissors.
